Prohibited Behavior

The following actions violate our community guidelines and may result in account suspension or termination:

Harassment & Bullying

  • Targeted insults, threats, or intimidation
  • Racial, ethnic, religious, or gender-based slurs
  • Stalking or persistent unwanted contact
  • Attempting to shame or humiliate others

Inappropriate Content

  • Sexually explicit material or conversations
  • Nudity or sexually suggestive imagery
  • Graphic violence or disturbing content
  • Illegal activities or promotion of harm

Misrepresentation

  • Impersonating another person
  • Using fake profile pictures or misleading information
  • Creating multiple accounts without permission
  • Catfishing or deceptive practices

Commercial Exploitation

  • Spamming or unsolicited advertising
  • Selling products or services without authorization
  • Sharing referral links or promotional codes
  • Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent activities

Privacy Violations

  • Sharing others' personal information without consent
  • Recording or screenshotting conversations without permission
  • Attempting to discover someone's location or private details
  • Distributing private messages or media outside the platform

Platform Abuse

  • Using bots, scripts, or automation
  • Attempting to hack or manipulate the system
  • Circumventing bans or restrictions
  • Interfering with other users' experience

Enforcement Process

When we become aware of guideline violations, we take action:

  • First offense: Warning and temporary restriction of certain features
  • Repeat offenses: Temporary account suspension
  • Severe violations: Immediate permanent ban
  • Legal violations: Reported to appropriate authorities

We review each case individually. If you believe your account was suspended in error, you can appeal through our contact form.

Reporting Violations

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:

  • Use the report button during or after a conversation
  • Provide specific details about what happened
  • Include usernames and timestamps when possible
  • Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours

We do not disclose the identity of reporters to the reported user.

Appealing a Ban

If your account has been suspended and you believe it was a mistake:

  • Contact us through the appeal form on your ban notification
  • Provide your username and explain why you think the ban was incorrect
  • Be patient—our team reviews appeals thoroughly and may take several days
  • Decisions on appeals are final

Updates to Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated as needed to address new challenges or improve community standards. We'll notify users of significant changes. Continued use of Cam Talk after updates constitutes acceptance.
